When I started my mobile detailing business in 2019, I had no clue about digital marketing.
I thought I could just post about my services on Facebook and people would show up…
Wrong.
Sure, we got some clients from Facebook, but not nearly enough to reach our goals.
So, for the next 2 years, I gruelingly taught myself all aspects of digital marketing:

I remember the first time I knew my marketing system was working. I was at a birthday party for a family member (I had just launched a new ad campaign a few days before).
No leads so far. My phone lay on the table next to some cold, soggy cheese fries… and then…

“New Quote!”
Hey, look at that! We actually got a lead! I couldn’t believe it. My ads worked??
A few hours later, after we left the party, I checked my phone again.
I was genuinely shocked.
My entire screen was covered, top to bottom with “New Quote!” notifications. 😳
At first, I thought it must have been a mistake or some kind of spam bot that went crazy on our website. No way this many people wanted to hire us.
But then I started checking the emails. They were all from different email addresses, they all looked… legit. So, both my partner and I stayed up late that night responding to all the inquiries.
Because we had so many leads, we quoted 2x higher than usual.
The result? We booked out for 3 weeks at the highest prices we’ve ever charged.
After that night, I was all in on paid ads.
I started rapidly learning everything I possibly could about the different ad platforms. I hired coaches, consultants, ran dozens of different campaigns, etc.
The end result? Britinee and I were pulling in $10k per month working maybe 25 hours per week.
Also, I fell in love with the game of marketing. All I wanted to do was sit in our apartment and tweak the ads, adjust the landing pages, refine our email scripts, etc.
